GETTING STARTED
Our families are anxious. Our children are anxious. But aren’t we equipped to fight anxiety & speak the gospel to our hearts?! Isn’t Jesus enough?! YES! God equips us with the Holy Spirit to fight our anxieties. We fight anxious thoughts with GRATITUDE! We fight anxious thoughts with SCRIPTURE! We fight anxious thoughts with MEDITATING ON GOD’S WORD!
We hope to learn how to FIGHT THE LIES WITH THE TRUTH as we “Consider the Birds”! Watch the video called “The Singer” from Jesus Storybook Bible (Matthew 6, 9, 12) down below. This is the basis for our VBS Theme this year!
God created our brains so that we can utilize certain tools to help us grow our ability to gain self-control. These practices are called “self-regulation”. Watch the video below to see how we will use games to teach us self-regulation!

Welcome to our very first online VBS! Our hope is to come alongside your families to equip our kids to love God & love people.
As you start to look at our content & look around the pages, we encourage you to come back weekly to get more details about new content for the week.
Scripture Memory
May the WORDS of our mouth & the MEDITATIONS of our heart be pleasing to you, Oh Lord!
As we study God’s Word, our hope is to HIDE IT IN OUR HEARTS! Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks. Let’s fill our hearts with God’s Word.
We will be memorizing Philippians 4:4 together as families. Each week your family will have a scripture memory activity to do together to learn some other fighter verses as well.
Supplies!
Here’s a supply list you can print. Most supplies will be given for the week (at supply pick-up on Saturdays), but there are a few items listed here we’re assuming most homes will already have handy.
Supply Pick-Up
We will have an opportunity for you to come pick up supplies for your family. These pick-ups will happen Saturdays June 6, 13, & 20 @ 10am-1pm at CF.

Tips for Families
Get all ages involved!
Choose your format! Will your family do all the activities in one day/evening? Will you spread out your activities to multiple days/nights? Will you get together with a neighbor or friend to do it together?
Designate a chalkboard or piece of poster to keep Scripture & main ideas on.
Create a family camp name & color OR use one of ours (BoogieWoogie – red, WockaWocka – blue, FunnyHaha – orange, WannaHockaLoogie – green)
