I was born in Fort Stockton, Texas and reared in a God-honoring home with three older sisters. I met Kendra in Brownwood where we were attending Howard Payne University and married on August 5, 1978. After graduation in 1980, we moved to Commerce where I attended graduate school. We have two sons; John married Tasha on July 10, 2004 and they have one daughter, Berkley Claire, born September 16, 2009. Adam and Laura were married on June 28, 2008. I have been in the counseling ministry in Greenville since 1985, first counseling at Ridgecrest Baptist Church from 1985 to 1988; I joined Greenville Family Medical Center in 1988 and did counseling and wellness programs until 1992. In September 1992, I moved to a private office in downtown Greenville and have continued that counseling ministry full time since that point. Kendra teaches 2nd grade at Boles ISD.

We are seeking to honor and glorify God through our lives at Crosspoint Fellowship and pray that God will grow us, lead us, and help us know and be known by the people of Crosspoint for as long as He keeps us here. We truly love the stretching and growth that we see and experience through the preached Word by our elders, and love serving with this body of believers.
